Leo Sayer eyes Glastonbury slot

Pop star Leo Sayer has hinted he is in the running for a prestigious performance at Britain’s Glastonbury festival.
The You Make Me Feel Like Dancing singer still regularly performs shows featuring his hits from the 1970s and ’80s.
He is currently on tour in the U.K. to promote his new album Restless Years, and he has opened up about a potential booking for the iconic event’s Sunday afternoon ‘Legends’ slot.
During an appearance on British TV show Loose Women on Tuesday (06Oct15), Leo was asked if Glastonbury is an event he would love to perform at.
“Oh it’s on the cards, man!,” he replied. “Why not? I mean, there’s that nice little slot where they put people like Al Green – legendary artists, and yeah, I could do that hands down. I’m sorry, I’m not being flash but bring it on!”
Previous performers in the festival’s legends slot include Dolly Parton, Tom Jones, Brian Wilson, and Neil Diamond.
