Norah Jones and Chaka Khan are among the stars revamping Joni Mitchell’s hits for a new tribute album.
The new release, celebrating the music legend’s 75th birthday, will feature live renditions of the singer’s songs from a tribute concert staged in Los Angeles last year (Nov18).
Brandi Carlile, James Taylor, Los Lobos, and Rufus Wainwright will also appear on Joni 75: A Birthday Celebration, while Seal will cover her hit song Both Sides Now.
The album is scheduled for release on 8 March (19), while a film of last year’s concert will be broadcast in select cinemas this week (07Feb19).
