O.J. Simpson Robbery Hearing Date Set

A preliminary hearing in the armed robbery case against O.J. Simpson has been set.

The former football star is charged with 10 felony counts and one misdemeanor count following an alleged armed sports memorabilia raid on a hotel suite in the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas last month.

It is claimed that two of Simpson‘s posse drew weapons and forced memorabilia dealer Alfred Beardsley and a business partner to hand over items like signed baseballs and photographs at gunpoint.

Simpson alleges the items were stolen from him and it was a scheduled meeting to get them back.

Justice of the Peace Joe Bonaventure Jr. has set the hearing for Nov. 8 and 9.

Simpson was famously acquitted in 1995 of the 1994 murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.
