Paul Rudd accepts Man of the Year honour

Paul Rudd accepted the Harvard University Hasty Pudding Man of the Year honour.
The Ant-Man star picked up his award from the nation’s oldest collegiate theatrical organisation at the university in Massachusetts on Friday (02Feb18).
Rudd, 48, was later celebrated in a roast that targeted his “dad face” and his past as a bar mitzvah DJ.
Referencing the aftershave his character Brian Fantana wore in the movie Anchorman, Rudd was also asked to impersonate a sex panther before he was given the golden Hasty Pudding Pot.
He then received kisses on the cheek from male performers dressed in drag and was made to wear a bedazzled bra over his shirt, as per tradition.
“It’s a nice fit,” he joked.
Hasty Pudding said it chose the star because his career has spanned many genres, from independent movies to blockbuster films.
“The day has been a blast. It’s been great getting to meet a lot of people and see Harvard,” Rudd told students and reporters. “I’ve never been here before.”
Rudd joins the ranks of Hollywood men honoured by the Hasty Pudding club, a group that includes Harrison Ford, Robert De Niro and Tom Hanks.
