Christmas Eve is this Sunday, and you’re probably really stressed out with preventing the paper cuts on your fingers from bleeding on the nice wrapping paper, hoping the person who mistook your luggage for his/hers returns it to the airport, and with finding the most durable earplugs because you have to share your bedroom with a grand-person. But don’t worry, everything will turn out fine (it always does) — but for the time being, here’s a Funny or Die video starring Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes, and Jim Carrey to ease the chaos that comes with the holiday season. In it, we’re privy to a dramatic (and drunken) reading of the literary classic, The Night Before Christmas, with Gosling and his comedic timing as the guy who does the “long winter’s napping,” Mendes as his wife, and Carrey as Santa Claus. It’s a real treat and proves the comedic timing Gosling so effortlessly displayed in Crazy, Stupid, Love was no Christmas miracle.
