The singer/actress was reportedly left devastated after she was dumped by the American footballer on the eve of her 29th birthday earlier this month (09Jul09).
But the star is putting the failed romance behind her by spending quality time with her family.
When quizzed by reporters in Hollywood on Monday (27Jul09), where she was attending an event held by her manager father Joe Simpson, the blonde beauty told Usmagazine.com she was feeling “good”.

She also posted a note on her Twitter.com blog, saying, “Just left my dad’s new artist An-Ya’s single release celebration with my family. Good luck sweetheart! You are a doll.”.
