Spooky Tooth singer dead at 72

Mike Harrison, the frontman of early 1970s band Spooky Tooth, has died.
The 72-year-old passed away last month (25Mar18), according to reports.
Harrison’s music career started in the mid-1960s after he formed the V.I.P.’s with Keith Emerson and Greg Ridley. The band later became known as Art and released psychedelic classic album Supernatural Fairy Tales in 1967.
The band changed its name to Spooky Tooth and released another classic album, The Last Puff, in 1970.
Harrison released an eponymous solo album the following year, titled Mike Harrison, and followed that up with Smokestack Lightning in 1972.
He left Spooky Tooth following the release of 1973’s Witness album, but he reunited with his old bandmates for a final album in 1999.
His final solo album, Late Starter, was released in in 2006.
