Many of us know Jamie Lynn Spears from her breakout role in Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101, but ever since her career-ending pregnancy scandal, the teen mom has been laying pretty low (or you know, just being a mama!).
Jamie Lynn garnered fame by not quite following in her famous sister’s footsteps. Brittney Spears stuck to music, while Jamie Lynn decided to try her hand at acting. Now, it looks like Jamie Lynn is ready to slay the country music scene.
The youngest Spears has just released a brand new single that makes us swoon. The up-and-coming country star channeled early Taylor Swift (oh, how we miss that sound) and focused on creating sweet lyrics about falling in love after having one too many cocktails.
The track, titled ‘Sleepover,’ really showcases Jamie Lynn’s gorgeous voice and country twang. We didn’t know she had it in her!
