Boris and Lilly Becker split after nine years of marriage – report

Tennis champ Boris Becker has reportedly split from his wife Lilly Becker.
Lawyer Christian-Oliver Moser, who is reportedly working with the estranged couple, confirmed the separation to German news agency dpa, revealing it was a tough decision for Boris and Lilly to make.
“The decision after a 13-year-long relationship and nine years of marriage wasn’t an easy one,” the Berlin-based lawyer said, adding the split was “amicable” and the couple’s main concern was for their eight-year-old son Amadeus.
Father-of-four Boris wed his second wife in Switzerland in 2009, where the couple have their main home, and Amadeus, was born the following year.
The German tennis champion, who won Wimbledon three times during the ‘80s, faced rumours of a split with his wife last year (17), not long after the 50-year-old was declared bankrupt over debts of more than $4 million (£3 million).
And Dutch-born model Lilly, 41, was filmed breaking down in tears on TV show Gladiators in 2017 when, unlike her co-stars, she didn’t receive a message of support from Boris following a four-week trek through Namibia.
She later admitted in an interview with the Daily Mail that they had gone for relationship therapy in a bid to save their nine-year union.
