Actor Clint Howard separates from wife

Actor Clint Howard has filed documents to separate from his wife of 22 years.
The 58-year-old, the younger brother of actor/director Ron Howard and uncle to actress Bryce Dallas Howard, has cited irreconcilable difference as the reason for his split from Melanie, who he married in 1995.
According to TMZ.com, in the documents the Austin Powers actor has listed a number of items which allegedly belong to him such as a home in Burbank, California, scripts from his past movies, his rights to a screenplay called Where’s Little Louie? and U.S. Savings Bonds worth $24,000 (£19,000).
Howard has allowed Melanie to keep jewellery and bonds worth $10,000 (£8,000) but wants the court to decide who keeps their 2006 Honda Accord and 2005 Chrysler 300 vehicles.
The former couple had no children.
