Actress Bebe Neuwirth has exited Madam Secretary after four seasons.
The star announced her departure on Sunday (22Oct17), revealing the night’s episode would be her last.
“So grateful for my time @MadamSecretary – a wonderful show where I love the cast, crew, background artists. #lifelongfriends,” she wrote in a series of messages on Twitter.
“So grateful to @CBS for accepting my request to depart @MadamSecretary and writing a beautiful exit for me,” she continued.
“So grateful for everyone’s support & good wishes here in Twitterland,” she added.
Neuwirth has been with the show since it launched in 2014.
