AJ McLean: ‘Nick Carter’s frustrated with brother Aaron’

Nick Carter is really frustrated with his younger brother Aaron Carter because he doesn’t know how to help him, according to bandmate Aj Mclean.
Backstreet Boys star Nick has been involved in a feud with Aaron after his sibling’s arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) in July (17). Nick offered his support to Aaron on Twitter, but his brother blasted him for reaching out on a public platform and told Entertainment Tonight he felt the pair had been through too much to put their differences behind them.
The I Want Candy star recently confessed to addictions to prescription painkillers and cosmetic surgery and after a number of people called police to check on his welfare, he checked into rehab last week.
Before Aaron’s rehab news went public, Nick’s bandmate AJ, who has been to rehab three times to battle drug and alcohol addiction, told TMZ Nick is feeling helpless about his brother’s problems.
“I think Nick’s at a point where he’s really frustrated. He doesn’t know what to do,” he said. “They’ve tried a lot of things, just like my wife went through with me. They get frustrated. At a certain point, you’re like, ‘When are you gonna get it?'”
He told TMZ he was actually planning to call Aaron and set up a meeting because he’s worried about him.
“I’m going to give him a phone call, see if he wants to sit down with me today and hopefully talk some sense into him,” AJ continued. “I’ve been down that road, I’ve come out the other end, I’m sober today but at the same time, it’s a lot of work, but I am definitely worried about him. I love him like he’s my little brother.
“I hoped he listens, I hope he answers. If he doesn’t, you know, I’m not gonna stop but at the same time, I don’t want to push him further away, I just want to take him under my arm and give him a hug.”
