Alexa Ray Joel can’t wait to duet with dad at her wedding

Billy Joel’s musician daughter Alexa Ray Joel can’t wait to perform with her father during her upcoming wedding to restaurateur Ryan Gleason.
The 33 year old is excited to include her famous parents in key aspects of her big day, and her mum, model Christie Brinkley, is thrilled to be involved in putting together the festivities.
“She’s all about it,” Alexa tells People.com. “In fact, I told her, ‘It’s going to be you and me doing the planning.’ She’s got great taste. I like everything antique, so it’ll be very elegant, old-world.”
As for her legendary dad, he’ll be lending his talents to her special day.
“He’s going to sing,” the bride-to-be says. “We’re going to sing. We’re going to duet. It’s going to be like a musical. I’m always happiest when I’m singing. When I sing with Dad, it’s just the easiest thing in the world. We’ve been singing together since I was a kid, so it’s an honour to be able to just do that with him.”
However, Alexa admits the couple has yet to settle on a date for their wedding.
“We’ve both been so busy,” she confesses. “I mean, we don’t have a date yet, but we started to plan.”
Alexa and Ryan rang in 2018 as husband and wife-to-be, just days after she celebrated her 32nd birthday.
