Anthony Mackie and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II join Black Mirror

Superhero stars Anthony Mackie and Yahya Abdul-Mateen Ii are heading to TV to join the cast of the fifth season of Black Mirror.
The British sci-fi show, created and written by Charlie Brooker, is an anthology series, with each stand-alone episode featuring different cast members exploring new themes surrounding how modern technology affects mankind.
Breaking Bad star Jesse Plemons and actress Maxine Peake were among those to star in season four, and now Avengers: Infinity War actor Anthony and Aquaman’s Yahya have been added to the line up for the next instalment of the Netflix series, reports Deadline.com.
Bosses for the streaming service have yet to comment on the news, but it won’t be Mackie’s first Netflix gig – he is also gearing up to launch the second season of Altered Carbon later this year (19).
