Bella Hadid shares IV treatment photo

Model Bella Hadid has given fans an insight into her ongoing battle with Lyme disease after sharing an image of herself undergoing intravenous therapy.
Gigi Hadid’s 19-year-old sister took to Snapchat on Monday (29Aug16) to post a picture of her arm hooked up to an IV drip, revealing she requires the medical procedure daily.
The image, which appeared to have been taken at home, was simply captioned, “Everyday”.
Bella, who is dating R&B singer The Weeknd, was diagnosed with the tick-bourne illness in 2012, the same year her mother, former model Yolanda Hadid, learned she was also suffering from the disease. Bella’s brother, Anwar, is also fighting the condition.
The teenager’s Snapchat post emerged a week after her mum revealed she was recovering from surgery as part of her bid to beat Lyme disease.
Yolanda, the estranged wife of music producer David Foster, took to Instagram on 23 August (16) and revealed she is winning her battle as she nears the end of her Transvascular Autonomic Modulation (TVAM) treatment, which aims to relieve patients of symptoms like fatigue and lack of cognitive function.
“I am seeking, I am striving and I am in it to win it with all of my heart,” she captioned a photo of herself in a hospital bed, adding the hashtags, “#LymeDiseaseAwareness #TvamSurgery #LastChapter #SearchingForACure #RemissionInSight.”
Gigi, Bella and Anwar are the 52-year-old’s children with ex-husband Mohamed Hadid.
Reality TV star Yolanda is expected to detail her journey to full health in a planned memoir, which is set for release next year (17).
