Ben Lee and Josh Radnor to play concerts in Australia

Ben Lee and Josh Radnor are gearing up to play a series of concerts in Australia.
The Sydney-born musician and the former How I Met Your Mother actor met on the set of the sitcom over 12 years ago, going on to strike up a firm friendship. They released their debut album, Radnor & Lee, late last year (17).
Now, the unlikely duo have announced that they will play three concerts together on the east coast of Australia; at Brisbane’s The Triffid on 17 May, Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre on 19 May and Sydney’s Metro Theatre on 20 May.
“Radnor & Lee haven’t been around for long, but already they’re hard at work writing the follow-up to their debut album,” a representative from promoter Frontier Touring said in a statement. “You won’t want to miss out when the pair bring to Australia’s east coast their simultaneously witty, meditative, hopeful and triumphant tunes.”
Lee and Radnor’s shows will include performances of their songs One Foot in Front of The Other and Get Back to Nature, as well as their tune Still Though We Should Dance, which features the vocals of Sam Shelton.
During an appearance on Australia’s The Today Show on Wednesday, the duo talked about their “weird experiment” and Catch My Disease hitmaker Lee explained that the group had started out as a bit of fun.
“It was just a fun, playful thing,” he shared. “It’s progressed very gradually with little shows, little tours, recording, and now it’s hit us like, ‘Woah, we’re in this intense collaboration’. It’s very intimate, it’s like a marriage and we had no idea what we were getting into – but it’s been amazing.”
Tickets go on sale on 11 April.
