Mike Tyson to star in one-man show in Las Vegas

Boxer-turned-actor Mike Tyson is returning to the stage to star in another one-man show in Nevada.
The Hangover star first brought the story of his life, Undisputed Truth, to the stage in Las Vegas in 2012 and he subsequently followed it up with a run in Broadway in 2013.
The former heavyweight champion is now heading back to Sin City – the site of so many of his fights – for Mike Tyson Undisputed Truth – Round 2, which will debut on 7 September (17) at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club in the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.
The stageshow will centre on Tyson’s life following his retirement from boxing in 2005. The run will wrap on 19 November (17).
“It’s been an amazing ride, sharing my journey to audiences around the world,” Tyson says. “It only felt right to bring my story full circle and address the many ups and downs of my post-boxing life. It’s been a wild ride and I can’t wait to step back onstage at MGM Grand.”
It’s not clear how much Tyson will dwell on the three years he spent behind bars for raping 18-year-old beauty queen Desiree Washington in an Indianapolis, Indiana hotel room. During his incarceration, Tyson converted to Islam.
