Brett Eldredge: ‘I’m not dating video girlfriend’

Country star Brett Eldredge has shot down reports suggesting he’s dating reality TV star Sadie Robertson after she played his love interest in a new video.
The Duck Dynasty pin-up appears opposite Eldredge in the promo for The Long Way, and fans have started suggesting their chemistry spilled over when the shoot wrapped.
“We’re not dating, she’s just a good friend,” he tells Taste of Country, revealing he had never met Sadie until she showed up to shoot the video – and they became instant friends.
“I saw her on Instagram and I saw all of her stories and just her energy, she’s just a great person,” Eldredge explains. “I just loved who she is, what she stands for, her whole story, her personality.
“I thought she would be amazing for this video if somehow we could get her to do this and she was, like, all about it… I just thought she’s the kind of person that you’re looking for in this kind of song – just a good heart, a great person, beautiful soul.”
“She did an amazing job and somehow people thought we were dating for a while,” he smiles. “We just met that day and we hit it off as friends.”
