Carey Mulligan and John Goodman will be showing off their musical skills at a concert to celebrate the folk music from their new movie Inside Llewyn Davis. Directors Joel and Ethan Coen and producer T Bone Burnett, who teamed up for the soundtrack of hit film O Brother, Where Art Thou?, will stage the show at The Town Hall in New York City on 29 September 29 (13).
A portion of the proceeds from the gig, titled Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating the Music of Inside Llewyn Davis, will benefit the National Recording Preservation Foundation.
Artists like Joan Baez, Colin Meloy of The Decemberists, Mulligan’s husband Marcus Mumford, Conor Oberst, Patti Smith and Jack White will also perform.
