Corey Feldman Vows to Name Alleged Hollywood Pedophiles

Corey Feldman has vowed to expose the names of those who allegedly harassed him as a child star.

The actor, who rose to fame in the 1980s with roles in films such as Gremlins and The Goonies, released a short video last week (ends29Oct17) in which he unveiled a plan to raise $10 million via crowdfunding in order to shoot a film about sexual abuse in Hollywood.

During an appearance on Monday (30Oct17), Feldman asserted that his film will name six alleged abusers.

“It will be a very true story,” he said. “Everybody that affected my life, I’m going to give the perspective that I can give, what I viewed, what I experienced from a first-hand account.”

Feldman claims that he and former co-star Corey Haim were sexually abused, and that he has previously been prevented from going public with his story for legal reasons. When host Matt Lauer asked Feldman whether he had spoken to police, he claimed that he passed over testimony to officers in Santa Barbara, California, about his abuse in 1993, when he was questioned by investigators looking into child molestation allegations against Michael Jackson, which the popstar was later acquitted of.

“I sat there and I gave them the names. They’re on record. They have all of this information, but they were scanning Michael Jackson. All they cared about was trying to find something on Michael Jackson,” the 46-year-old recalled. “Michael is innocent. That’s what the interview was about with the police in 1993…I told them, ‘He is not that guy…I know the difference between pedophiles and somebody who is not a pedophile because I’ve been molested. Here’s the names. Go investigate.'”

Feldman also stated that as well as needing to fund his film, he requires money to pay for attorneys and a security team for his own protection, as he claims to have had death threats in the wake of his plans.

In addition, he believes that more celebrities will soon come forward, especially in light of the sexual harassment and assault allegations against producer Harvey Weinstein becoming public.

“I believe there’s a lot of darkness in Hollywood right now, and I believe it’s been there for quite some time,” added Feldman. “It’s going to continue unravelling. This is just the beginning, it’s just the tip of the iceberg.”
