Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee have scored a 10th week at the top of the U.S. singles chart with their summer smash Despacito.
The track, featuring Justin Bieber, becomes the 35th hit to top the Billboard Hot 100 for at least 10 weeks, joining Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You, which spent 12 weeks at number one earlier this year (17).
The Brit’s track has just tied a new record for the longest spell in the top five with one hit.
Ed’s song remains at five in the new countdown, tying The Chainsmokers’ Closer.
Elsewhere in the top five, DJ Khaled’s Wild Thoughts, featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, rebounds from four to two, while the rapper’s I’m the One, featuring Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne, slips a spot to three, and Bruno Mars’ That’s What I Like also falls a spot to four.
Meanwhile, JAY-Z’s The Story of O.J. from his new number one album 4:44 is the singles chart’s highest debut at 23. The hit album’s title track is also new at 35.
