DJ Mustard detained at airport after gun found in luggage

Dj Mustard was detained at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) after a gun was found in a carry-on bag.
The music producer was with a friend on Friday (08Dec17) when they were stopped by a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employee when a loaded .22 semi-automatic handgun was discovered, TMZ.com reports.
The two men were stopped by LAX police and questioned separately after they tried to walk away without the bag.
However, police were later able to verify that the gun belonged to Mustard’s friend after viewing airport surveillance.
Mustard was released, but his friend was arrested.
The DJ was allegedly on his way to Salt Lake City, Utah, for a performance on Friday, but after he was detained the gig was cancelled. He was also due to play at Spire Nightclub in Houston on Saturday, but that was also postponed.
“Sorry to all my fans in Salt Lake City and Houston,” Mustard wrote on Twitter. “I’ll be there soon to turn up with y’all in 2018!!!”
The rescheduled dates have yet to be announced.
