Ed Sheeran: ‘I did not out Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris’

British pop singer ED SHEERAN has dismissed suggestions he outed TAYLOR SWIFT and CALVIN HARRIS as a couple, insisting fans knew the stars were together long before he confirmed the rumours.
The Sing hitmaker spoke out about his friend Swift’s new romance during a New Zealand radio interview earlier this month (Apr15), calling Harris a “really nice guy” and giving them “the seal of approval”.
Many took Sheeran’s comments as a confirmation of the romance, but the singer is adamant he did not do his pal a disservice by talking publicly about her personal life.
He tells the Sydney Daily Telegraph, “I don’t think I outed them as a couple, they’ve been seen in public together quite a few times, so people have made that assumption. They’ve been pictured at lots of different concerts and have been holding hands so I don’t think I’m telling the world anything they don’t already know.”
