Elisabeth Moss is set to form an unlikely trio with comedy stars Melissa Mccarthy and Tiffany Haddish for a new mob wives drama.
The Handmaid’s Tale and former Mad Men star rounds out the main cast for The Kitchen, the film adaptation of a 2015 comic book series of the same name by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle.
Set in Hell’s Kitchen, New York in the 1970s, the drama centres on the wives of Irish mafia bosses, who take charge of business after an FBI raid leads to their husbands’ arrests.
The Kitchen will serve as Straight Outta Compton screenwriter Andrea Berloff’s directorial debut, and is set to premiere in 2019, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
