Fascinating fact:

A British father’s rights activist has been found guilty of vandalising a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in London’s Westminster Abbey. Tim Haries, a member of the Fathers4Justice protest group, appeared in Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday (08Jan13) and confessed to defacing the picture in June (13) to highlight the “social justice issue of our time”, but pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing criminal damage of more than $7,500 (£5,000). He was found guilty by a jury and sentencing has been set for 5 February (14). He was bailed until the next court date.
