Foreigner line up Las Vegas residency for 2020

Foreigner have become the latest band to set up a residency in Las Vegas after announcing a 10-date run at the Venetian Resort early next year (20).
The Cold As Ice hitmakers will hit the stage at their new Las Vegas home between 24 January and 25 April, playing two sets of five hits shows at the venue, and singer Kelly Hansen tells Billboard the band’s biggest problem is which songs to leave out.
“If you take a look at Foreigner’s catalogue, there are 16 top 30 hits, and the problem becomes: ‘What songs do you leave out?'” he says.
“Do you do some songs acoustically or do you give them all the classic presentation? These are all discussions that we have in creating a set list, but you’re definitely going to hear all of the big ones for sure.”
If the new residency is a success, Hansen insists there will be more Foreigner shows in Vegas: “I don’t mind hanging out in the same place,” Hansen says, “and not having to get on a bus or a jet after a show every night.”
They join fellow classic rockers Def Leppard, Journey and Aerosmith, who are currently enjoying residency success on the Las Vegas strip.
