Former Black Label Society rocker guilty of unlawful contact with minor

Ex-Black Label Society guitarist Nick Catanese has been sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to sending sexually explicit photos and messages to an underage girl.
The rocker, who parted ways with Zakk Wylde’s heavy metal band in 2013, had been working as a music instructor at the School of Rock Castle Shannon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last year (17), when he was arrested for harassing a 14-year-old student.
He pleaded guilty to unlawful contact, corruption of minors, and endangering the welfare of children after admitting to sending the teen photos of his genitals online, and asking for similar pictures in return, as well as describing various sex acts to the girl.
Catanese, 46, appeared in court this week (begs15Jan18), and was ordered to serve probation, register as a sex offender for the next 25 years, and avoid all contact with minors, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He has also been banned from using any devices connected to the Internet.
