Former Er star Goran Visnjic will play Halle Berry’s husband in the upcoming U.S. TV thriller Extant. The Croatian actor will romance the Oscar winner when she makes her return to the small screen in the Steven Spielberg executive produced drama.
Visnjic will play John Watts, the husband to Berry’s Molly Watts, a female astronaut returning home after spending a year in space.
NCIS actor Michael O’Neill also joins the cast, alongside former The Practice star Camryn Manheim.
Berry’s last TV series credit was in a recurring role on U.S. soap opera Knots Landing in 1991.
