Gina Rodriguez Dumps Management and Talent Agency Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Actress Gina Rodriguez has cut ties with officials at her talent agency and management firm after key personnel were hit with allegations of sexual assault.

The star’s former manager, David Guillod, recently stepped down from Primary Wave Entertainment after he was accused of drugging and sexually abusing Ted actress Jessica Barth during an alleged encounter in 2012.

Meanwhile, bosses at the Agency for the Performing Arts (APA), who helped     land her big break in hit TV series Jane the Virgin, hit headlines last month (Oct17) when they booted talent agent Tyler Grasham.

Grasham, who did not work with Gina, stands accused of behaving inappropriately with actor Blaise Godbe Lipman when he was in his teens, and is reportedly under police investigation.

The two scandals have since prompted Gina to walk away from the firms, and she is now in the process of finding new representation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

She isn’t the only APA client to leave the company – Stranger Things child star Finn Wolfhard fired Grasham as his agent immediately after the claims surfaced, and subsequently left APA altogether.
