Hilary Duff’s ex escapes rape charge

Hilary Duff’s ex-husband will not be charged with rape after a woman accused him of forcing her to have anal sex.
Retired ice hockey player Mike Comrie, 36, was accused of taking intercourse too far after romancing two women at his home in California in February (17). One of the unnamed females claims he had rough anal sex without her consent and slapped her in the face.
But investigators have dropped the case because they fear they cannot prove “beyond a reasonable doubt” that Comrie acted with the knowledge that the women did not consent.
The unnamed woman claimed she met the sportsman in a bar and they went back to his place where he raped her “multiple times”.
Younger actress Duff filed for divorce from Comrie in February, 2015, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting primary custody of their son. The divorce was finalised in February, 2016.
