Hollywood producer Adam Fields denies sexual harassment allegations

Hollywood producer Adam Fields has “categorically denied” three allegations of sexual harassment made against him.
The movie mogul was hit with claims by screenwriter Leslie Dixon, executive Melissa Philipian, and a lawyer who asked to remain anonymous, all of whom claimed Fields harassed or inappropriately touched them while he worked for Relativity Media between 2010 and 2016.
Dixon, who wrote the screenplay for 2011 Bradley Cooper movie Limitless, which Fields produced, claimed during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she had endured Fields’ touching and crude language on the set of the movie. However, she says that she decided enough was enough when the 62-year-old allegedly told her to get a sex toy. Dixon claims she walked off the set, called her lawyer and an agreement was soon in place that Fields would keep his distance.
Meanwhile, Philipian, who worked in the company’s sports and music department, claims Fields started his harassing of her shortly after he was promoted to Relativity’s co-president of production in April 2016.
She alleges that Fields first started out by “being sly” and promising he could help move her up the ranks of the movie business, before he apparently made his move a couple of weeks later.
“He came to me and basically told me if I went to his house and had sex with him, I could be moved up high at Relativity. I told him I was not interested,” she said, admitting she’d decided against reporting the incident because she “loved” her job and didn’t want to lose it.
A third woman, a lawyer, told The Hollywood Reporter that Fields “had unwanted physical contact with me. “It was unwelcome and invaded my personal space, and it made me feel very uncomfortable, particularly because he was my superior,” she explained.
In a statement via his lawyer, Fields denied the claims, and suggested the allegations were to do with the legal battle he is currently involved in with Relativity, who fired him from his job in September, 2016, for alleged breach of contract.
“Mr. Fields categorically denies all the allegations. This is an obvious attempt by some at Relativity to intimidate Mr. Fields and destroy his reputation,” the statement to The Hollywood Reporter read. “It seems hardly coincidental that these stories from unnamed sources are surfacing in the press just now, a few days after Mr. Fields concluded presenting evidence in an arbitration in which he seeks millions of dollars in damages against Relativity and Ryan Kavanaugh for fraud and breach of contract,” the statement said.
