Ice-T pays fines in traffic case

Rapper and actor Ice-T has been hit with $700 (£540) in fines for traffic violations relating to an arrest in New York last year (18).
The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star was detained in October (18) after he took the George Washington Bridge’s E-ZPass lane, which is set up for commuters who use a small transmitter to pay, without realising he didn’t have his device in the car.
He continued through the toll into New York City, where he was pulled over by traffic police officials, who also discovered his McLaren sports car was not registered.
Ice-T was detained for failing to observe the bridge fee and cited for the unregistered vehicle. He was also hit with the three other charges, but two were subsequently dropped. According to TMZ, the 60 year old has since taken care of the issue and paid $707 (£550) in fines for disorderly conduct, toll evasion, and failure to observe a traffic control device.
