Isla Fisher thanks David Spade for making American dream a reality

Actress Isla Fisher has comedian pal David Spade to thank for her life in the U.S. after meeting friends at his birthday party, who let her and her husband move in with them.
The Australian, who is married to British comic Sacha Baron Cohen, admits living in America was just a distant dream before she went to Spade’s bash and met a couple who helped make it come true.
Appearing on the comedian’s late night show, Lights Out, on Tuesday (20Aug19), she officially thanked David for her introduction to America.
“We actually live in America because of David,” she said. “We came to your birthday (party) and we made some actual friends there, who let us live in their house and subsequently we moved here, so thank you.”
