Jane Seymour was thrilled when swimsuit photo made national news

Former Bond girl Jane Seymour was thrilled when a bikini shot became a national story in her adopted America five years ago.
The actress, who turns 67 on Thursday (15Feb18), posed in a hot-pink two-piece swimsuit for the cover of Closer magazine when she was 62, and the untouched snap was picked up by outlets across the country.
“I thought it was funny, especially when it was discussed for three days on CNN,” she tells the new issue of Closer. “To listen to experts discuss my photographs, I was, like, ‘Really? Is there nothing else happening in world news?'”
As she nears 70, Jane insists she doesn’t feel her age at all – thanks to her grandkids.
“I feel like I’m 40!” she beams. “I’m really healthy, knock wood. I think I’m staying so young because I have these grandchildren that keep being given to me, like, ‘Mom, can you take them?’ And I’m happy to!
“Most of my friends have children and grandchildren, too, and my idea of fun is to have family together.”
Jane, a grandmother-of-six, is also hoping to try on that swimsuit again for another knock-’em-dead moment, adding, “I thought, ‘I’m going to get back into that bikini’.”
Meanwhile, the actress is revisiting the aerobics craze that was popular in the 1980s in her new TV comedy series Let’s Get Physical, and she admits the project brought back a lot of memories.
“I used to do aerobics back in the day,” she told People magazine. “I frizzed out my hair, had the headband, the leotard that came right up to your waist, the belts.”
The show’s title is inspired by Olivia Newton-John’s 1981 hit Physical, a song that helped Seymour create a more personal connection to the role.
“Olivia Newton-John happens to be one of my closest friends,” she shared, noting the Grease singer has enjoyed watching the comedy. “She loves it. She thinks it’s hilarious.”
