Jenni Rivera’s daughters perform with hologram of late mum

Latin singer Jenni Rivera was brought back from the dead on Sunday (19Mar17) to perform a ‘duet’ via hologram with her daughters at the L Festival in California.
The Mexican-American star, who died in a plane crash in 2012, was first resurrected for a digital performance at a Day of the Dead event in October (16), and fans were treated to another hologram gig over the weekend, as Jenni ‘joined’ her musician daughters Chiquis Rivera and Jacqie Campos for a colourful set at the L Festival in Pico Rivera, California.
Jenni lookalikes also strutted their stuff across the stage for the performance, dressed in some of the late singer’s famous outfits.
The two-day event also featured appearances by Luis Fonsi, Alejandro Fernandez, Jesse & Joy, J Balvin, Los Tigres del Norte, and Marco Antonio Solis, who closed the festival with a hits-packed set.
Jenni isn’t the only late musician to be turned into a hologram – digital versions of Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson by experts at Hologram USA have also ‘performed’ in recent years, while they are also working on a hologram for another big Latin icon, Juan Gabriel, who died in August (16).
