Jennifer Aniston cringes at some of her movie choices

Jennifer Aniston is embarrassed by some of the films she’s made.
The former Friends actress no longer feels pressured to take on so many projects, revealing that when she was younger she worked and worked. But these days has been cutting back more, and that includes saying no to projects she doesn’t believe in.
“(But) I’m trying to be better at that,” Jennifer told U.S. Harper’s Bazaar. “I’m a bit of a people pleaser. I’ve got to stop. Some of the movies I’ve made, I bow my head in slight shame over.”
The 47-year-old beauty is hoping that in the future she’ll be able to work more with two fellow A-listers, although she did briefly work with one of them while filming new comedy Mother’s Day.
“I had a big tease because (Julia Roberts and I) did a scene together in Mother’s Day, but it was a moment. And Emma Stone I’m dying to work with,” she enthused.
Her age and experience have also opened up new opportunities for Jennifer as an actress. Mostly known for her comedic roles, in 2015 she earned a best actress Golden Globe nod for her dramatic turn in the film Cake.
“I can do other things,” Jennifer said. “I feel a sense of freedom that I hadn’t necessarily felt before. Also, you have to start taking chances in an industry that’s very insecure about taking chances on people.”
Jennifer has just finished shooting The Yellow Birds, an Iraq War drama in which she plays the mother of a troubled young soldier. Again she’s looking forward to showing people there’s a serious side to her work.
Though Jennifer is just seven months into her marriage to The Leftovers actor Justin Theroux, she confesses it feels like they’ve been man and wife much longer.
“Married life is so normal and fun and not much different,” she says. “We felt married for so long.
“I’m lucky because Justin is the funniest person I’ve met, and we make each other laugh. Laughter is one of the great keys to staying youthful”.
