Jennifer Aniston’s brother and his daughter have settled their messy family squabble over the will of the Friends star’s late mother.

The actress’ half-brother John Melick accused his daughter, Eilish, of persuading his mum, Nancy Dow, to amend her will in 2015 and leave him nothing.

According to documents obtained by Life & Style magazine, a 2011 draft of the will suggested John and his son would receive $100,000 each, while officials at Nancy’s favorite charity, The Christian Community, would inherit $25,000 – and Eilish would pick up what was left from the writer’s trust.

But the 21-year-old asked her grandmother to file an amendment in 2015, eliminating her father and The Christian Community from the will and reducing her brother’s inheritance to $40,000. John and Jennifer were also removed as trustees of Nancy’s estate, making Eilish the sole trustee, according to Life & Style.

John, 57, claimed Eilish had Nancy make the changes after she suffered “a series of debilitating strokes”, insisting his mother was mentally incompetent at the time, but the daughter’s lawyers insisted Nancy was completely cognizant when the changes were made to the will.

Now, the suit has been settled and, according to a Life & Style magazine source, Eilish has agreed to give her dad and brother more money in return for Nancy’s home in North Hollywood.

Nancy Dow died last year (16).
