Jeremy Meeks gains primary custody of son in deal with ex-wife

Jeremy Meeks has gained primary custody of his nine-year-old son in a deal with his ex-wife Melissa Meeks.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the model reached the agreement after their divorce was finalised earlier this month (Jun18).
Under the terms, Jeremy reportedly landed primary physical custody of Jeremy Jr., while Melissa is set to receive a six-figure sum from her ex-husband.
In the original deal, Melissa had primary physical custody with a 70/30 split time with each parent. The new deal will reportedly see Jeremy Jr. living in the U.K. with his dad and his girlfriend Chloe Green, the daughter of Topshop boss Philip Green, beginning this summer.
The nine-year-old has already been enrolled in private school, TMZ reports.
Jeremy recently welcomed his first child with heiress and socialite Chloe. The new parents announced the news in identical posts on Instagram on 7 June, with a sweet photo of them holding hands with the newborn tot.
“We are pleased to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy Jayden Meeks-Green. Born May 29th 2018. Mommy and Baby both doing well. We kindly ask to respect our privacy Please. Much love Chloe & Jeremy,” they wrote.
Melissa filed for divorce last summer after discovering her husband was cheating on her with Chloe, and in March, Jeremy asked the judge overseeing the case to dissolve the union as quickly as possible.
Jeremy shot to fame following his arrest during a gang sweep in California in 2014, when authorities posted his mug shot on Facebook. The photo quickly went viral, earning him the nickname “Hot Felon”.
He served time for being a felon in possession of a firearm and grand theft, but following his release from prison in March 2016, he began a modelling career and has since walked the runway for the likes of Philipp Plein.
