Jessica Simpson: ‘It would be a miracle if I got pregnant again’

Jessica Simpson hasn’t ruled out having another child, but admitted it would be “a miracle” if she fell pregnant again.

The 37-year-old singer is mother to daughter Maxwell, five, and son Ace, four, with husband Eric Johnson. While she isn’t actively trying to further extend their family, Jessica told Entertainment Tonight (ET) that they haven’t entirely ruled out having more children.

“We always practice,” the blonde beauty laughed. “But it would definitely have to be a miracle.”
Jessica didn’t go into further details, but her remarks come after an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last May (17), when she revealed she had been fitted with a coil to prevent any more pregnancies.

“I’m not pregnant,” she said as she addressed rumours at the time that she was expecting. “We got an IUD, nothing’s gonna get in that uterus. I have two beautiful children and I’m not having a third.”

However, during the ET interview, Jessica admitted that since her children are growing up so fast, she often finds herself struck with “baby fever”.

“My daughter is about to turn 6, 1 May is her birthday, and my son is going to turn 5 on 30 June and it’s just like, ‘Wait, so this is no longer toddler, this is full-on kid’. My daughter (already) thinks she’s a teenager. My son at least wants to be a baby still.”

Jessica is known for being particularly open when it comes to discussing her sex life with her handsome husband Eric. And speaking about how the pair keep the passion alive in their relationship, the star cited frequent alone time wherever possible.

“Today, we got to go on this trip without the kids, (and usually) we don’t go places without the kids,” she said, adding that being on their own for the trip allowed them to give each other “all of the attention”.
