Jimmy Fallon ashamed of old hairstyles

TV personality Jimmy Fallon has never cracked the code on how to style his hair.
The late night talk show host always looks dapper while sat behind his desk to interview guests, either rocking a smart suit or a slightly more casual ensemble. While he may appear to have mastered his style from the outside, Jimmy admits he still struggles to find the right ‘do for his locks.
“As far as hair goes, I’ve never cracked the code, really,” he told U.S. InStyle. “I’m at an OK phase right now, but on (Saturday Night Live’s) Weekend Update, I tried every hairstyle known to man. Awful ones. Asymmetrical ones. Haircuts where (co-anchor) Tina (Fey) was saying, ‘What is going on with that?’ And I was like, ‘I know. This one’s a bad one.’ I remember looking at magazines and thinking, ‘That’s a good look’. I’d do that.”
For a photo shoot to accompany his interview, 41-year-old Jimmy rocks an array of cool garments, including a black and white striped top under a grey pea coat and a dark cardigan with a collared shirt.
Talking about his relationship with clothes, the American star recalls how he used to be dictated by trends and the world around him when selecting outfits.
“Growing up, I was a T-shirt and jeans kid,” he recalled. “But I was always interested in fashion. By college, I was thinking more about looks that worked for me and ones that didn’t. Should I do Kurt Cobain? I had the cardigans and the T-shirts and the ripped jeans. In my Beastie Boys phase, I was just wearing ski hats to class. But I was also very goofy, so I’d wear a Wendy’s shirt, like I worked at Wendy’s.”
There was also the “gas-station jacket” which he loved at the time. But when he’s off-duty these days, Jimmy likes to stick with tailored classics such as button-up shirts, khaki trousers and brown shoes.
