Johnny Depp’s daughter jets off to the Bahamas to cheer up dad

Johnny Depp’s daughter is helping to cheer up dad as he hides out in the Bahamas amid his divorce drama.
Model and actress Lily-Rose Depp has visited her father on the private island he owns in the Bahamas to give the actor a boost as he battles his estranged wife Amber Heard.
“He has no plans to return to Los Angeles,” a source tells People. “He misses nothing about L.A. but his kids, and they are visiting him in the Bahamas.”
His son Jack, 14, is expected to arrive on the island with his mother, Vanessa Paradis, this weekend (25-26Jun16), according to reports.
“Having his kids around is always great for him. He has really missed his kids,” the source says. “He likes being surrounded by people and everyone is trying to cheer him up.”
Depp flew straight to his Bahamas retreat after wrapping up a European tour with his rock band The Hollywood Vampires earlier this month (Jun16). The divorce drama unfolded while he was overseas, with Amber filing for divorce and then requesting a protection order against Johnny while he was out of town.
The couple was set to face off at a court hearing in Los Angeles on Friday (17Jun16), but that was postponed on Thursday (16Jun16), amid reports the estranged couple is attempting to thrash out a divorce deal.
A temporary restraining order against the actor was reissued. Amber has accused her estranged husband of subjecting her to emotional and physical abuse throughout the couple’s 15-month marriage – a claim Depp strongly denies.
She showed up to court last month (May16) to request a protection order sporting a bruised face, claiming Depp had thrown an iPhone at her during a final row at the couple’s Los Angeles home.
The official hearing on Heard’s permanent restraining order request has been rescheduled for 15 and 16 August (16).
