Joss Whedon: ‘Leaked Avengers scene is a fake’

Writer/director JOSS WHEDON has declared a scene which leaked on the Internet purporting to be from his upcoming movie AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is a fake.
A clip which was reportedly taped at an advanced screening of the superhero movie emerged online over the weekend (18-19Apr15), but Whedon insists the post-credits scene, which features Spider-Man, is a hoax.
He tells WENN, “Yeah that’s not real. I don’t know where that started. It’s not in fact part of the movie and I don’t know who came up with it. We wanted to be clear that there’s no tag scene at the very, very end of the film because after sitting through 40 minutes of credits (sic) and not seeing anything, we thought people would become irate. So no, I don’t know where that started.”
Avengers: Age of Ultron is released in U.K. cinemas on Friday (24Apr15) and in the U.S. in May (15).
