Judge Denies Request to Block Usher from Hiding Assets in Herpes Lawsuit

A woman who has accused Usher of giving her herpes has lost her bid to block the singer from hiding his assets in her $20 million lawsuit against him.

Laura Helm accused the Yeah! hitmaker of infecting her with the sexually transmitted disease in July (17), and earlier this month (Sep17), she alleged Usher was fraudulently transferring all of his assets to avoid them being seized if a judgment is granted.

She also accused Usher of giving his money to others to hide it, but reportedly admitted she had no proof.

In legal documents obtained by TMZ, her lawyer suspected Usher was trying to move the funds because he delayed the discovery process by 90 days.

Helm asked a judge to block the singer from moving his assets, but according to the outlet her request was denied, with a judge ruling Helm is not entitled to make demands over Usher’s money because there has not been a ruling in the case.
