Kane Brown makes country charts history in the U.S.

Kane Brown has become the first artist to lead America’s five country charts.
The singer has topped the Top Country Albums, Hot Country Songs, Country Airplay, Country Digital Song Sales and Country Streaming Songs Billboard countdowns.
His What Ifs collaboration with Lauren Alaina rules the Hot Country Songs chart, ending Sam Hunt 34-week reign at the top with Body Like a Back Road.
The song is also Brown’s first number one on the Country Airplay chart.
He reveals the song was not originally intended to be a duet, but now he knows asking Alaina to join him in the studio was a good idea. The pair used to sing in the same seventh-grade choir together.
“We were the awkward kids,” he laughs. “Once we decided on adding a woman to What Ifs, I knew that I wanted Lauren to sing it, and, of course, she killed it.”
It’s the first hit to lead at least three charts since Keith Urban’s Blue Ain’t Your Color.
Meanwhile, the deluxe edition of Brown’s self-titled debut album spends a second week at number one – the release first hit the top spot in December (16).
