Kylie Minogue Swears Off Marriage

Kylie Minogue no longer wants to get married after her heartbreaking split from actor fiance Joshua Sasse.

The 49-year-old star announced her split from Joshua in February (17) after reports they had fallen out over his friendship with his No Tomorrow co-star Marta Milans.

In an interview with Australian website news.com.au, the gay icon was asked about her support for the campaign to legalize same-sex marriage in her native country, and whether she’d be open to a new career as a gay wedding singer.

“That’s OK. I love a wedding. Just don’t make me have one. I’ll happily come and perform!” Kylie smiled.

The Aussie singer and 30-year-old Joshua called off their engagement a year after announcing their plans to wed in Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper.

The couple had said they would get married when politicians in her homeland legalized gay marriage, which they are now doing after Australians backed marriage equality in a national poll.

Announcing her love split on Instagram Kylie wrote: “Thank you for all your love and support throughout this recent chapter of my life. Thank you now for your love and understanding with the news that Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways. We wish only the best for each other as we venture towards new horizons.”

Rumors their relationship was in trouble began after Kylie was photographed in tears outside a hotel in Sydney in November 2016. She was later spotted out without her engagement ring on, and sources told British newspaper The Sun she had thrown Joshua out of her London home due to a disagreement over his closeness to Marta.

Insiders told The Sun she was left “absolutely devastated” and “totally heartbroken” by the split.
