Laura Dern has sparked rumors suggesting she is dating basketball player Baron Davis after they were photographed kissing.
The Jurassic Park actress and Davis were spotted outside of the Beverly Hills Hotel in California after a lunch date on 20 December (17), when they were seen “talking, laughing and having a great time,” according to an Us Weekly source.
The insider adds that Dern was reportedly “trying to remain incognito, (but) they were kissing and touching and were all over each other”.
“(They looked) infatuated with each other (and) very much like a new couple in love,” the eyewitness shares.
Dern and Davis have not commented on the nature of their relationship, but if the dating news is true, it comes six months after the NBA star’s estranged wife, Isabella Brewster, filed for divorce in June (17). The former couple wed in 2014 and shares two children.
Meanwhile, Laura divorced musician Ben Harper in 2013 after eight years of marriage. They also have two children together.
In 2014, she opened up about the split, insisting she doesn’t feel any “shame” about the marriage not lasting.
“It (divorce) is what it is,” she told Britain’s Stella magazine. “Sadly, half of marriages end in divorce.
Half of my girlfriends and male friends have been through one, and their kids are doing great. There’s no shame around it – unless you want to project that on to yourself – but certainly there’s no longer cultural shame. Everyone is just walking through it.”
Last year (16), the actress was linked to rapper Common, but he dismissed the rumors.
“Laura and I did a movie together (The Tale),” he told the New York Daily News. “It was a great experience. She’s just my friend.”
Dern has also previously dated Kyle MacLachlan, Nicolas Cage, Jeff Goldblum, and Billy Bob Thornton.
