Lorna Luft diagnosed with brain tumour after collapse

Lorna Luft has been diagnosed with a brain tumour after she collapsed at a recent gig.
The singer and actress, the daughter of Hollywood icon Judy Garland and producer Sidney Luft, was “forgetting lyrics and monologue” during her performance at the Pizza Express Jazz Club in London on Friday (09Mar18), according to The Guardian.
Luft was rushed to hospital by her husband, Colin Freeman, who had been concerned for his wife’s wellbeing.
Spokeswoman Victoria Varela added that the 65-year-old has been “initially diagnosed” with a brain tumour.
“Following admission to hospital, Luft has been initially diagnosed with a brain tumour,” she said in a statement on Saturday (10Mar18). “Further information will be available following additional medical tests and examinations.”
Luft, an Emmy-nominated TV producer and Broadway star, is currently in remission from breast cancer, which she has had for more than six years.
The star’s performance at the Jazz Club on Friday was the second of four sold-out shows at the venue.
