Singer/actress Lorna Luft is in recovery after undergoing successful brain surgery to remove a tumor.
Medics discovered the growth earlier this month (Mar18), when the 65-year-old was hospitalized following a backstage collapse after a show in London.
The tumor was removed during an operation in Los Angeles on Tuesday (20Mar18), and now Judy Garland’s daughter, and sister of fellow entertainer Liza Minnelli, is on the mend.
Luft, who is also a breast cancer survivor, is expected to be discharged from the hospital soon to continue her recovery at home.
The performance at London’s Pizza Express Jazz Club was her second of four sold-out shows at the venue.
He publicist tells Press Association the star is planning to reschedule the two remaining shows, which were pulled following her health emergency, once she is back on her feet.
