“Mac” attack victorious for Fox

Fox‘s new Bernie Mac Show scored as well with the public as it did with the critics Wednesday, at least the all-important 18-49-year-old segment of the public. Although ranked fourth in the
ratings among overall households, the premiere show at 8:30 p.m. took
first place among younger viewers, while a second episode at 9:00 p.m.
came in second against NBC’s powerhouse, The West Wing. However,
the struggling Fox sitcom, Titus, starring Christopher Titus, at
9:30 fared poorly, dragging down Fox’s overall ratings for the night.
