Maluma’s concert in Rome cancelled over safety concerns

Colombian singer Maluma’s first-ever concert in Rome, Italy has been scrapped over safety concerns.
The Felices los 4 hitmaker was set to perform at the Atlantico Live Roma on Sunday (08Oct17), but the local promoter reportedly oversold the amount of tickets for the venue and the city’s culture department officials have cancelled the show.
“This has not been an easy decision to make,” a statement from Maluma reads. “The last thing I wanted to do was to disappoint my Roman fans for whom I have dreamed of performing for many years, but taking into consideration security concerns from local experts, I have been forced to cancel this Sunday’s concert.
“I would never risk anybody’s safety, let alone that of my fans.”
Meanwhile, Maluma’s Friday night (06Oct17) show at Pala Yamamy in Milan, Italy went ahead as scheduled.
